finding lulu
SHORT FILM
September 2022
After learning about the culture of school shootings in America, Lulu’s Kenyan community bands together to prepare her for life in U.S. schools.

There is something that moves faster than a bullet: it’s fear. The current school shootings taking place in the U.S. have impacted more than the deceased—they have mentally traumatized children across the country. Until gun laws are reformed, we have no choice but to prepare our children for the worst of situations, none of which can be dealt with without addressing their mental state first. ’Finding Lulu’ is a quest across borders to discover the most resistant gene to fear. To manually remove that invisible bullet. And in that quest, we find one of the bravest people on Earth: the Masai.
